There is no getting around it they miss their daddy very much, all nine of them. So what better then to sleep with mommy when daddy is gone. There I lie awake at night fantasizing about a nap tomorrow afternoon or about sleeping in on Saturday. My bed is full. My son has stayed up way to late playing a zombie game and has begged to stay with me, OK, then the little Peke jumps on the bed at my feet she turns into a tiny knot, the wiener dog is on his back head on a pillow a devilish grin on his face as he quietly snores, The cockerspaniel paces up and down the middle of the bed looking for the perfect spot before she decides on top of me would do just fine. The basset hound feels it is very important to sleep on the outside edge of the bed and pressed hard against me. There at the foot of the bed stands the Newfie trying to decide just where he will fit in this mix. I beg him softly not to come up, I don't want to wake anyone up..but it only encourages him, and in one quick jump he is up on the bed, there is barking and squealing because he is ultimately standing on the littlest dogs tail, and I give up ...don't worry though daddy will be home soon...and I will take a nap then. Miss you daddy.
