The swim club and laundry

Well I am really behind in the laundry department. But I am determined to get caught up, its the pool towels that really take the most time... I went to the swim club yesterday, yes we have a pool but we thought the interaction for Alex and I would be good. I have met some lovely ladies there and as we sat and chatted our conversation quickened with excitement. We were discussing washing machines and dryers...aughhhh what has happened to me? That I should find such a subject interesting and exciting, as I hung onto the details of informations that they spewed forth on wonderful agitaor free machines, and could one even imagine a machine one day that would do both wash and dry..it made me lightheaded with giddiness at the thought.
I am sure you are perplexed at my wish list presently for christmas: I would like the Duet Series machines, if Santa is reading this. However our infamous Newfoundland ROCKY aka Sully aka Magnus aka Plato and many other names has taken up swiming. To the point of obsession.Five and Six times a day and yes I still use the leaf blower but his face and ears must be hand dried and that uses a whole beach towel, as you can see he is a little small for his age soe I really need this new large capacity washer santa.
Tomorrow vacuming with Rocky..hint he does not run away.

Politics and Fido

...a Latin name meaning "I am faithful." As such it is a terrific name for the average protective and loyal family dog. However, it gets its popularity from a celebrity tie-in. Apparently, Abraham Lincoln, a largely self-educated but very erudite man, named his dog Fido. Americans followed suit in droves, putting the dog name Fido firmly in the top 20 names. Lincoln’s choice of Fido for his dog’s name was perfectly logical. Fido is the Latin for faithful, which when dealing with any pet dog is entirely appropriate
